Once it’s cooled, you can clean up the joint. There might be some leftover flux or bits of solder on the edges. You can use a small file or some sandpaper to gently smooth out the joint. Just make sure not to apply too much pressure, as you don’t want to damage the ceramic or the soldered joint.

Troubleshooting

Sometimes, things don’t go as planned. If the solder doesn’t seem to be sticking to the ceramic, it could be because the surface wasn’t clean enough, the flux wasn’t applied properly, or the ceramic wasn’t heated to the right temperature. Double – check these things and try again.
